Our finished hat, mom crochet and mitts, i knit are beautiful. the cast iron pressure cooker pot is iron and that gave a gray tint to the yarn as you can see in the mitts. the hat yarn was dyed in a revere ware pot, the aluminum gave a brighter yellow.
